Revolution in Communication

Let's see what other cliches we can add to the already existing ones considerign mobile technologies. This topic is widely discussed because it is new, because people are familiar with it or because they are not familiar with it. Most of the things that could be said are already said, but everyone has the right to share experience oropinion.

Hm...people even gather for international meetings like the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. I am mentioning it because I am now in Spain. You can learn a lot from such meetings -the leaders in these technologies go there and present the lates fashions in this field. Not that I am a professional or want to become one, it is just good to meet some new people and learn something new. It is not like staying at home and being a couch potato or being a "computer potato".

But let's keep to the point. I am also becoming part of these new mobile technologies because I recently bought a BlackBerry Storm. A nice phone which looks a lot better than the previous models of BB. The main reason I am writing this blog and want to go the Congress is that I want to learn more about it. The new generation of BB and iPhones have so many functions and extras that you are getting lost in the phone as soon as you start using it. And it takes too much time reading the manual. However, I read some other blogs and websites on the topic and it seems that these phones support some useful applications like online real-time translatin services and text2speech for example, which save a lot of time and effort. I dodn't know much about these technologies and I hope to learn more from Interlecta themselves at the Congress. After all, the creators must know best!
